By Heather Caliendo ·

Limelight by Amy Poeppel is everything I hoped it would be and more. Full of humor with plenty of heart, it’s such an enjoyable book. This is Poeppel’s second book and I really like her writing style. There’s such an ease to it and the witty dialogue is fresh and realistic.

Limelight by Amy Poeppel is her second novel. Her first book, Small Admissions, is an enjoyable coming of age tale with a different take on the New York private school scene. I’m excited to see what’s in store with Limelight, especially as this one has received a lot of buzz.

Review: Tangerine by Christine Mangan

By Heather Caliendo ·

Tangerine by Christine Mangan is a retro take on psychological suspense. It’s a combination of The Talented Mr. Ripley story and Hitchcock films rolled into one novel. Tangerine wasn’t as twisty as some modern-day thrillers but there are some chilling moments and it kept my interest to the end.
