Valentine by Elizabeth Wetmore is an impactful story that highlights the strength of women. However, I did think it missed the mark in some areas.

The Girl With the Louding Voice by Abi Daré is such an extraordinary work of fiction. What a story.

Long Bright River by Liz Moore is an impactful story about the opioid epidemic and the complicated dynamic between sisters. This is quite the unique story.

A Woman is No Man by Etaf Rum is a devastating, heart-wrenching but also, hopeful, novel about a Palestinian-American family.
