Long Bright River by Liz Moore is an impactful story about the opioid epidemic and the complicated dynamic between sisters. This is quite the unique story.

The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James is one of the best novels I’ve read in some time. And I don’t normally do creepy/ghost stories but this one is incredible.

Editorial note: I received a copy of The Other Mrs. in exchange for a review. The Other Mrs. by Mary Kubica is a chilling story that you’ll want to read in one sitting.

Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann is a haunting nonfiction novel that will stick with you.

Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow is about a journalist’s quest to shed light on the truth.
