An American Marriage by Tayari Jones has been on my TBR list for quite some time. The book has plenty of acclaim and earlier this year, Oprah chose it for her 2018 Oprah’s Book Club selection.
This is what Oprah said about the book:

When selecting a book to read for the book club, one of the biggest component is if the book warrants a discussion. And with Oprah’s recommendation along with reading the synopsis, there will be plenty to talk about with this one.
